Yeah.......I Didn't Mean To Do That!

Ok, so yesterday didn't go quite as planned.  I completely fell off the "wagon" and basically ate whatever I wanted.  NOT a good move.  On Saturday I did a full body workout on the gym and then 45 minutes on the treadmill, ate well, drank my detox mix, protein shakes and lots of water.  When I got up on Sunday we had hockey practice at 8:30am so I didn't work our right away.  The rest of the day went down hill from there.

I have found that I need to exercise first thing in the morning.  It feels so good to get it out of the way and it also keeps me on track with my diet.  After all, who wants to spend 1-2 hours working out only completely negate it by eating all you shouldn't.

So, long story short, not going to beat myself up.  Had an Arbonne protein shake this morning, now drinking my detox mix (this is day 4 out of 7) and I will keep myself on track.

DOWN 6 POUNDS DOWN 6 POUNDS DOWN 6 POUNDS!!!!

Ok, maybe saying it 3 times is overkill but I FEEL AWESOME!  I was so excited when I jumped on the scale this morning!

Here is a sample of what I have been doing daily to get this weight off:

M, W, F 4:30am - wake up, have an Arbonne shake while doing my full body workout and then 40 minutes on the treadmill.  T, TH - up at 5:00am and 45 minutes on the treadmill

7:00am - On the way to work I full a 32 ounce bottle of water up with an Arbonne Fizz Tab and off I go

8:00am - breakfast at work consists of High Fiber Oatmeal, Banana and Arbonne Fiber Booster

10:30am - fruit for a snack

1:00 - lunch is usually a lean cuisine, fruit and a veggie (I love grape tomatos!)

3:30-4:00 - Arbonne Shake for a snack

6:30 - Dinner usually consists of chicken, pork chops, turkey burgers on the George Foreman grill with steamed veggies and rice or potato.

Throughout the day I use Arbonne Fizz Tabs when I feel the urge to snack.....they work!

This week I am starting to not eat after dinner and am following the weight watchers points plus program.

I will also be starting my 7 day detox on Friday when my order arrives.  I feel so much better already!

OUCH!

So I get up this morning at 4:30 all pumped and ready to get on my gym and do a full body workout when I pull out a pin to adjust the incline and SMASH it falls and pins 3 fingers on my left hand!  OUCH!  Luckily they aren't broken but they aren't pretty!

So I cry for a while and get on the treadmill for 45 minutes instead.  Then drive 3 hours to work in the snowstorm.  NOT a great way to start the day!

Why am I telling you this?  Because no matter how horrible your day starts it can only get better.  I feel great about the fact that I am sticking to my plan of working out in the mornings, even if it didn't go how I thought.

MOTIVATION is everything!  Now off to take some Vicadin :-)

Loving the way I feel......

I found a GREAT piece of home gym equipment so thought I would share it with you....

I bought the Weider version of the "Total Gym" (you know the one with Chuck Norris and Christy Brinkley) and I LOVE it!  I was able to get it through Amazon.com for only $125.54! 

Yesterday I did a full body workout and 40 minutes on the treadmill and it felt awesome!  This morning I was on the treadmill for 40 minutes and I can really feel that I have been working out.  No pain no gain right? 

My plan is to do the Weider and treadmill Monday, Wednesday and Friday and just the treadmill Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and take Sunday's off.  I will keep you posted on how this plan works.

Well I'm off to have some Herbal Detox Tea!

Down 2 Pounds!

Thank you for visiting my blog! Over the next 30 days I will be updating you on my weight loss and fitness progress while I am using Arbonne Fit Essentials along with exercise and healthy eating. 

Over the years I have put weight on, taken it off, put it on again and so on and so on.  Sound familiar?  Well, I have FINALLY made the commitment to take the weight off and keep it off once and for all!  So.....I started my challenge on Wednesday and would like to share with you how the past 4 days have been.

All I can say is WOW! I started using the Arbonne Fit Essentials products on Wednesday and I am already feeling a difference.  I have also completely changed the way that I am eating and I am now exercising every morning before work (4:30am).  Who am I and what have I done with myself???

So far off to a great start and I am already down 2 pounds!!  WOO HOO! I have replaced my morning coffee with Arbonne Detox Tea, reach for Carmel Fit chews when I crave something sweet, drink Arbonne's protein shakes snacks (and before my morning workout) and use the Fizz Tabs when I feel myself wanting to snack when I shouldn't.  It sounds like a lot of changes to make at once but it's so easy, anyone can do tihs!
